Experienced
The Leicester Strings were formed over 20 years ago and since that time have performed at nearly 800 events. They are highly professional and always provide a polished performance at every event, whether that’s a small private gathering or a gala awards dinner.
Varied repertoire
The repertoire of Leicester Strings is wide and varied. It consists of a wide range of popular classical music, such as Bach’s ‘Air on a G String’ and Handel’s ‘Arrival of the Queen of Sheba’. On the lighter side of things, Gershwin, Cole Porter and popular show tunes often sound very good. They also have arrangements of pop songs, from Beatles to recent chart hits.
